Redmine Bug #6371 (Resolved): Documentation: missing content in section 1.1.1 Featureshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/63712014-01-13T18:00:39Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

From the NCEAS help system:
-----------------
In the User's Manual, on page 11, just above the title 1.1.2 Architecture, the sentence ends in "...using a Seman" that's an odd end, and I suspect part of a sentence disappeared. Could you please verify and correct if necessary? Thanks in advance, Koen
Bug #4860 (Resolved): GUI-free class for Workflow Run Exporthttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/48602010-03-02T17:54:04Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

I'm trying to get the command-line execution working where I run a KAR and it produces a run KAR with the workflow/layout/report in it. The current approach is using an outdated class to build the KAR of the runs (org.kepler.provenance.kar.ExportRunsToKAR) and the only other thing I can see is a gui-centric action class (org.kepler.workflowrunmanager.gui.kar.ExportRunsArchiveAction).
Bug #4851 (Resolved): KarEntryAttributes not saved in MANIFEST.MF/KarXMLhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/48512010-02-26T23:09:08Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

I'm trying to add some key metadata entries to the KAREntries I provide in the ReportInstanceKAREntryHandler. I can see them added successfully to the KAREntry, but they do not end up in the MANIFEST.MF. I believe they would show up in the KarXML if I could actually generate it on my current system, but I'm having difficulties getting report instances to export/upload from the WRM...
Bug #4849 (Resolved): ant eclipse failshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/48492010-02-26T17:10:06Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

When I launch Kepler with a clean cache but with a workflow sitting in my local workflow directory that uses protected KNB data, I am prompted to authenticate.
We should not be prompting people for authentication credentials on startup - only if I try to open the kar file should it be processed.
This used to happen, then it was fixed, now it is back again.
Bug #4734 (Resolved): ant run-workflow-no-gui cannot read configurationhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/47342010-02-04T18:47:12Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

I'm losing reports (still? again? I don't even know anymore). I'm
running r22544, with the modification to RExpression.java that I
e-mailed you about. I opened the tpc09 KAR (r430), and tried to
remove the <> signs (3 actors in the structure/analysis composite
actor). I deleted the <> signs, then changed the display name to put
them back. I then saved the KAR, and lost the report. The first
time, I had tried exporting a run archive (forgot about the <>
problem), then made the <> name changes and tried saving them. I then
restarted Kepler, made the same <> name changes, and then tried saving
them and lost the report a second time. I don't have time today to
try it one more time, and I wouldn't be particularly surprised if it
worked the third or fourth time. However, the console log isn't
helpful. I've attached the log and the bogus KAR. You can check out
the starting KAR, which has the report, from svn.
Bug #4668 (Resolved): Documentation for event-state modulehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/46682010-01-13T23:24:58Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

Need developer-level documentation for how to use the even-state module in other modules.
Bug #4601 (Resolved): New LSID not propagating to provenancehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/46012009-12-04T06:18:18Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

This came up as a reporting bug, but that's a symptom if something larger. I'm not sure exactly where the system breaks down, but it looks like provenance isn't staying in synch with the current LSID. At least when you open a KAR from another computer in your own Kepler installation and then make a modification to it (this assigns a brand new LSID to the workflow).
When the workflow is executed after the change (and new LSID) the provenance DB still shows the execution as the old original workflow LSID.

Can you (dan) and aaron help narrow down where this is happening?
Bug #4595 (Resolved): ViewPane selection does not work with toolbar tear-offhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/45952009-12-03T22:47:07Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

In the Components tree we now have non-workflow items (items contained in KARs). These should be marked as different so that it's clear that we are mixing metaphors.
Bug #4475 (Resolved): Order context menu items consistentlyhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44752009-10-16T19:15:36Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

There is a mix of options, sure, but options that appear across different context menus (ie "Open") should appear in similar locations on the list.
Bug #4474 (Resolved): Report viewer - enable scroll wheelshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44742009-10-16T19:08:06Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

The viewer does not respond to scroll wheel actions currently. It should!
Bug #4473 (Resolved): Add WRM to bottom of report viewer for navigationhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44732009-10-16T19:06:56Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

Still need to design exactly how this will work out.
Bug #4472 (Resolved): Report Viewer - use different ViewPane classhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44722009-10-16T19:05:38Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

We have too many unused "areas" of the view where it looks like there should be some other window hidden. we just need to use a different ViewPane implementation with fewer divisions
