Redmine Bug #2067 (Resolved): Configure Ports command causes error with PTII CVShttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/20672005-04-17T18:49:08ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

When using the Ptolemy CVS version as the basis for Kepler and compiling from
Ant, trying the 'Configure Ports' command for any actor causes a 'Failed to
create Dialog Tableau' error. Following the stack trace indicates 'Caused by:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: ptolemy.data.expr.Constants.types()Ljava/util/TreeMap;'

This error disappears if the src/exp/ptolemy/data/expr/Constants.java code is
removed from Kepler. (Some kind of problem with new PT code?)

Jing reports that the error does NOT appear when using Eclipse !
Bug #2051 (Resolved): Could Not Get EML Metadata in existed workflowhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/20512005-03-23T20:24:20ZJing Taotao@nceas.ucsb.edu

In EML Simple Plot workflow, you click get metadata and will get an error. But
in search result panel and draging search result to canvas, the function works fine.
Bug #1887 (Resolved): Consolidate grid actorshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/18872005-01-20T18:43:02ZEfrat Jaegerjaeger@ecoinformatics.org

Provide a unified framework for grid actors, gridftp, scp, srb, etc..
Bug #1829 (Resolved): saving workflow invalidates eml datahttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/18292004-12-15T17:23:43ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

Intermittently, when you save a workflow with data that's been dragged from the
data tab, when you close then reopen the workflow, you get an NPE which is
source in the EML200DataSource.initialize() line 316. This might be a bug in
caching.
Bug #1748 (Resolved): "Get metadata" menu item only works for EML 2.0.0 documentshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/17482004-10-27T09:56:43ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Currently the "Get metadata" function only works for EML 2.0.0. The version is
hardcoded in the code, but instead it should be determined from the namespace of
the EML document and then used to lookup the appropriate XSLT stylesheet to be
used. This is a fairly straightforward change, but EML200DataSource needs to be
extended to provide access to the namespace information.
Bug #1697 (Resolved): Create a DarwinCore Actorhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/16972004-09-20T13:14:36ZRod Spearsrods@ku.edu

After returning results from a DiGIR query we need to consolidate the results in
order to create the proper MetaData for each different endpoint that appeared.
Bug #1660 (Resolved): Add QueryBuilder to the Data Actorshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/16602004-08-23T18:38:08ZRod Spearsrods@ku.edu

Need to add a query object to the Data Actors and be able to invoke the Query
Builder to make changes to it
Bug #1644 (Resolved): Image Display actor enhancements neededhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/16442004-07-23T23:19:18ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

Version 4.0 of PTII includes a set of ImageProcessing actors under the
"moreLibraries/Generic" category. Included are ImageDisplay and ImageReader
actors. These actors are currently rather 'fragile' (catgory "Red") and some
additional capabilities would be very useful. e.g. scrollbars on containers
where images are displayed, ability to scale the display, create a display from
an arbitrary stream or data set, etc.
Bug #1595 (Resolved): Create Advance Query Builder UIhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/15952004-06-08T11:56:05ZRod Spearsrods@ku.edu

Create a UI to enabled a user to specifiy a query for an access actor (Query
Builder)

The QB will take as input:
1) Nothing
2) A kepler\src\org\ecoinformatics\seek\datasource object

The ouput:
A composite query object representing the query (with joins and where clause)

Rough Sketch:
The UI contain two panes:

1) The upper pane
a) Shows all the tables defined in the database.
b) The user will be able to D&D fields from one table to another to define
foreign keys and/or table joins.

2) The lower pane will contain a tab control with two tabs
a) The less advanced tab will enable a user to enter the defeinition of a
where clause and all the items and their conditions will be grouped
by either an "and" or an "or". The text will read "Must meet all of
the conditions" or "Must meet at least one of the conditions"

b) The advanced tab will enable a a user specify a much more complex,
nested version of "ands" and "ors" This UI will look very close to the
the Query Builder UI for the Ecogrid (See below)

Description of UI for Advanced UI of the lower tab:
<AND>
<the condition goes here>
<OR>
<another condition goes here>
<another condition goes here>
</OR>
</AND>
Bug #1581 (Resolved): "New actor" instantiated from command line application and saving actors in...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/15812004-05-26T20:04:08ZEfrat Jaegerjaeger@ecoinformatics.org

Something between the "New Actor" and the "command line" actor. The New actor
will be instantiated to perform the command. The actor creator will take care
of specifying the necessary inputs and outputs types.

Add the save in library method a parameter for specifying a specific library
for storing the actor.
Bug #1579 (Resolved): need sub-sampling actorhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/15792004-05-25T16:36:07ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

We need an actor that can perform various sub-sampling functions such as
jackknife and bootstrapping operations. Most ecologists use R and similar
systems for this type of work. We specifically need to do some
spatially-explicit sub-sampling for the GARP pipeline. In addition, we could
probably create a sub-sampling actor as a composite actor that uses the ptolemy
signal processing actors.
Bug #1545 (Resolved): need SAS actorhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/15452004-04-30T17:50:07ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Need an actor that can execute SAS jobs. Initially start by implementing this
locally, possibly utilizing the commandline actor. In addition, we might want
to build an (authenticated for licensing) web service that allows these jobs to
be executed on remote nodes.
Bug #1359 (Resolved): Test bug for the SDM Users group, please ignorehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/13592004-03-04T16:43:23ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu
