Redmine Bug #4580 (Resolved): Error saving/opening KAR that has a workflow with a PortParameterhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/45802009-11-25T01:02:02ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

Opening a past run where the workflow contained a PortParameter is giving a ptolemy.kernel.util.NameDuplicationException
Bug #4566 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager - highlighting sometimes doesn't work for multiple rowshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/45662009-11-20T21:01:31ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

Sometimes when you select multiple rows in the WRM and then right click to get the context menu popup, WRM changes to only highlight one row. The context menu items still act on the X rows you originally selected. This happens a lot, but not always.
Bug #4555 (Resolved): error exporting etc >1 run with same name but different wfhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/45552009-11-17T01:12:54ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

If you export or open more than one run where the workflow names are the same but the workflows are different, you get an error:
ptolemy.kernel.util.IllegalActionException: Error building the KAR file: duplicate entry: 00-StatisticalSummary.xml
at org.kepler.kar.KARBuilder.generateKAR(KARBuilder.java:236)
Bug #4552 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager Export Archive no longer adding to Libraryhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/45522009-11-14T03:37:19ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

r21538, now setting KARFile members _lsidNames and _lsidTypes, introduced a bug: Export Run from WRM gives an error from CacheSearch.add(). I commented out the adding of export runs to the library in r21539 for the time being until I can look into this.
Bug #4518 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager - no imported run tagshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/45182009-10-30T23:25:17ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

If you export a run that has tags into a kar, then delete that run from the WRM, then open that kar, the imported run displays no tags. This is because no tags are inserted into provenance on import. To be able to do this insertion, I will first have to add code to serialize the tag info (type, urn, ontology_uri,) into the WorkflowRun moml.
Bug #4479 (Resolved): Error messages are not imported during run importhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44792009-10-16T23:11:33ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

When importing a WorkfowRun that contains error messages into provenance (creating a 'husk run'), the error messages are lost. I forgot to inject these.

A related problem is that I'm not parsing the error messages from the serialized string form of a Map into a real Map (which I'll need to use). Though it's probably better to find a better way to serialize this map; the string form of the map is hard to parse since error messages can contain "=" and ",".
Bug #4473 (Resolved): Add WRM to bottom of report viewer for navigationhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44732009-10-16T19:06:56Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

Still need to design exactly how this will work out.
Bug #4456 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager in Report Viewerhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44562009-10-15T00:06:44ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

If in WRP you change to the Report Viewer and unhide the bottom panel where the Workflow Run Manager normally is, it's not there. Maybe it should be here, and behave differently than the normal "canvas wrm", instead automatically showing the report for any row you have selected (so that it's easy to quickly look through many reports). The context menu could still have the usual options. I'm filing this for 2.X.Y, for wrp-modules-1.0.0 I think we could get away with just not showing the panel area at all. Let me know your thoughts...
Bug #4454 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager - ability to display new run tagshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44542009-10-14T23:41:58ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

To tag a run, you select the row in the WRM table and enter or select a new tag with the tagging ui. As soon as a run gets a new tag, it should be displayed in the tags column in all open WRM tables.
Bug #4446 (Resolved): serialized workflowRuns should have use a date standardhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/44462009-10-12T19:16:38ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

Serialized workflowRuns should use a date standard. I'd also like them to be human readable. I'm currently planning to change to a format that will be valid ISO 8601.
Bug #4357 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager does not mark last failed execution redhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/43572009-08-31T21:41:30ZOliver Soongsoong@nceas.ucsb.edu

The workflow run manager is supposed to highlight failed executions in red. If I run a workflow and it fails, though, it is not highlighted. If I run it again, then the first failure is highlighted but not the second. If I run it again, then the first two are highlighted, but not the third. If I close and re-open Kepler, all failures are highlighted. It seems that highlighting is not updated after an execution.
Bug #4355 (Resolved): unexpected workflow appears in provenance after WRM run deletionhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/43552009-08-31T20:05:42ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

Unexpected Unnamed1 workflow show up after run-deletion via WRM.

To reproduce:
1) launch kepler using wrp suite
2) open and run getting-started/00-StatisticalSummary.xml once
3) quit and relaunch kepler
4) delete execution with wrm
5) connect to DB server, select * from workflow;

Before run deletion, workflow table contains:
00-StatisticalSummary

After deletion it contains:
00-StatisticalSummary
Unnamed1
Bug #4325 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager - deleted runs sometimes reappear after Kepler relaunchhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/43252009-08-21T00:14:24ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

To reproduce:
- Launch Kepler
- Run a workflow twice.
- Export the 2nd run.
- Run the workflow again.
- Delete third run from WRM
- Close, then relaunch Kepler. #3's back

The problem is related to exporting a run.
Bug #4231 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager - failed runs should be highlighted redhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42312009-07-09T01:15:04ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

If a run fails the row should be red in the WRM. To this end I've added an errorMessage string to the WorkflowRun class locally, but I need to change this to a list to allow for multiple errors per exec. The serialized WorkflowRun should probably also put the timestamps along w/ each error. This might be useful for debugging user problems without having to run their workflows, e.g. "Please send us (an exported kar of) your failed runs".

The gui code to do the highlighting needs to be done.

Dan suggests maybe having the error(s) for the run show up when you hover over the row with your mouse.
Bug #4136 (Resolved): Workflow Run Manager - date and duration search should allow single operato...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/41362009-06-08T20:02:22ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

WRM - the user should be able to enter a single date or duration without an operator (operators are currently: >, <). They currently can, but the searches haven't been implemented yet and the user gets an error.
An operator-less search for a date could show all runs for that date. A date + hour, all runs for that hour. Etc.
This has been determined to be low priority, and I may just disable allowing such args for now.
