Redmine Bug #4228 (Resolved): Not all tokens seem to be written when running WF from commandlinehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42282009-07-08T15:26:51Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

I'm still trying to isolate the problem, but I'm finding that a RecordToken is not "fully" being written to provenance.
When I run in the GUI I see that the token has two port_event rows: one with a write_event_id=-1 and another with a write_event_id that corresponds to the previous row.
When running from the commandline I only see the write_event_id = -1 row and nothing else.

The recordToken is being passed to a display actor - perhaps the non-GUI filter is removing that connection and the port firing is modified? That's my only lead so far...

I will try to make a simpler workflow to isolate it.
Bug #4226 (Resolved): Report Designer - use 16pt bold for Report Title text fieldhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42262009-07-07T16:25:32Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

The stylesheet for rendering the report (as pdf) has the following defaults:
Title: 16pt bold
Section Header: 14pt bold

The report designer panel shows large bold for the section header only; the report title is small and normal weight - can we bump that up to match the values in the stylesheet so that there's a correlation between the designer and the result?
Bug #4225 (Resolved): Provenance - start auto-incremented IDs at 1 not 0https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42252009-07-07T05:11:53Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

I inadvertently noticed that when I queried for the last execution of a workflow that never ran I was still getting back a valid execution id (namely 0).
The method description for resultSet.getInt(int) says that if if receives a SQL null it will return 0. This is happening in provenance. I think the best solution would be to start the IDs at 1 so as to never have ambiguity about whether there is actually a result or not. The alternative is to add this to any code that might encounter ids with value=0:

Object obj = result.getObject(1);
if (obj == null) {
return -1;
}
return result.getInt(1);
Bug #4224 (Resolved): New LSID generated when opened from KARhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42242009-07-06T23:33:22Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

When a KAR is opened on a computer that did not save it, the LSID of the workflow/model is changed.
See attached KAR; open the archive; the old LSID is in the derivedFrom list - but a new has been assigned.
Bug #4223 (Resolved): Report Viewer - Text runs over edge of button for 'Refresh using current la...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42232009-07-06T18:13:09Zdebi staggsstaggs@nceas.ucsb.edu

In the report viewer the text for the button that says "Refresh using current layout' runs over the edges of the button.
Bug #4222 (Resolved): Report Designer - icon for the static graphic image switches back to generi...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42222009-07-06T18:07:59Zdebi staggsstaggs@nceas.ucsb.edu

You can choose a custom icon for the static graphic image, when you select the graphic for the static image, and the report model gets the new image just fine, but when you drop another panel, the icon switches back to the generic one, instead of showing the one for the image that you have selected. The image is right in the report model, just not in the GUI after the drop.
Bug #4221 (Resolved): Report Viewer - Need more space between each elementhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42212009-07-06T18:03:35Zdebi staggsstaggs@nceas.ucsb.edu

Elements in the report view should have some regular spacing between each element.
Bug #4220 (Resolved): Report Viewer - South label is not being renderedhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42202009-07-06T18:01:16Zdebi staggsstaggs@nceas.ucsb.edu

The south label and its value is being created in the model correctly,(it seems) but it is not showing up in the report viewer.
Bug #4218 (Resolved): Report Designer - difficult to enter text for Item labelshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42182009-07-02T22:56:54Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

Clicking in the text area for a dynamic item label rarely keeps my cursor in the field - so I can't really type a label in. Every now and again it will stick and I can enter text.
Bug #4217 (Resolved): Report Viewer - "nil" not rendering consistently/correctlyhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42172009-07-01T23:37:40Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

If you drag an actor or ports of an actor to the canvas and accidentally drop them into a text field, text from the moml of the actor is deposited into the text field. This should not happen.
Bug #4213 (Resolved): Report Designer - north and south labels swaphttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42132009-06-30T22:02:46Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

Typically happening with another item is dropped on the layout.
The swap seems to only happen once.
Bug #4212 (Resolved): Report Designer - Clicking the delete button removes unselected itemshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42122009-06-30T21:59:19ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

If nothing is selected on the canvas and I click the delete button, it seems to remove a randomly chosen component. If nothing is selected, nothing should be removed. Also, items that are selected need to have a larger selection border. It's hard to see that the skinny border is blue.
Bug #4211 (Resolved): Report Designer - do not allow dropping of actors on reporthttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42112009-06-30T18:20:15Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

We should only allow "leaves" (ports/parameters) that have no children to be reported on.
Bug #4210 (Resolved): Report Designer - scrollbar goes off the screenhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/42102009-06-30T18:07:54ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

The scrollbar on the right goes off of the screen so that I can't see the bottom of it.
