In the 2.4RC3 Windows installer, after I run various demos, when I close the demo, the "Save changes to KAR" dialog pops up.

Probably the Kar files need to be updated in the svn repository.

HelloWorld, SimpleAddition and others are affected.
Bug #5700 (Resolved): after getting an actors patch, actor changes won't be visible to user until...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/57002012-08-29T00:23:23ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

In testing a pending patch to actors, I found my changes to an actor didn't appear in the library until .kepler was manually deleted and kepler restarted.
Bug #5680 (Resolved): after inline save, demo workflow disappears from treehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/56802012-08-16T20:05:01ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

When I open a demo workflow from the tree, change it and save, it disappears from its location.

If I then close this Kepler window, in another Kepler window the workflow sometimes shows up at the bottom of the tree, at the root level. This issue of items sometimes appearing at the root bottom has been a problem for a long time, I believe I have filed bug(s) elsewhere for it.
Bug #5650 (Resolved): actors LidarWorkflowExecute and load WorkflowExecute have duplicated codehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/56502012-08-06T23:27:32ZChristopher Brookscxh@eecs.berkeley.edu

To be consistent, it seems to me build-area should have a licenses.txt listing the licenses for its included libraries in the style of other modules, which keep a module-info/licenses.txt file in a particular format.
Bug #5633 (Resolved): Actor/Attribute Search/Find Facility needs menu choiceshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/56332012-06-22T21:40:21ZChristopher Brookscxh@eecs.berkeley.edu

Edward developed a search facility for models.
Under Mac OS X in the Kepler trunk, if the mouse is over the graph canvas,
then typing Command-F brings up a search dialog.

This dialog should be added to the Kepler menus.
Bug #5603 (Resolved): ant run -Dworkflow=${HOME}/Downloads/SimpleLoop.kar failshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/56032012-05-08T14:37:32ZChristopher Brookscxh@eecs.berkeley.edu

ant -p says:

run Compile, then run Kepler along with the modules in modules.txt. Use -Dworkflow=model.xml to run a model.

When I run:
ant run -Dworkflow=${HOME}/Downloads/SimpleLoop.kar

I get

In addition, the process hangs and I have to type control-c.

This makes it annoying to use Kepler to check out bugs and open models.

ant run -Dworkflow=SimpleLoop.kar
also fails.

Basically, it looks like -Dworkflow does not work?
Bug #5589 (Resolved): Add missing ptolemy actors to libraryhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/55892012-04-23T23:05:00ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

We should look through ptolemy's source and add Kepler library representations for any actors we don't already display and that will work in Kepler. Today the need for some of the Matrix actors came up, and they're two years old, so I suspect there are a number of ptolemy actors we should add.
kepler.sh -createActorXML can be used.
We could probably issue a patch to the actors module.
Bug #5578 (Resolved): Add DiffModules with build-areahttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/55782012-02-27T23:00:39Zdhogan dhogand.hogan@ge.com

StatusModules excludes build-area because it isn't in modules.txt. It would be helpful to include build-area in 'ant status' so you can see all of the changes.

This patch adds build-area to StatusModules and adds DiffModules.
Bug #5487 (Resolved): blank modules.txt files created for non-suite moduleshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/54872011-09-08T23:26:16ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

Tomasz Zok reported a bug with invalid modules listed in the Module Manager Gui after patching a released module, and then kepler crashing after attempting to use a patched suite.
It's described here:
http://lists.nceas.ucsb.edu/kepler/pipermail/kepler-dev/2011-August/019824.html
http://lists.nceas.ucsb.edu/kepler/pipermail/kepler-dev/2011-September/019836.html

I commited Sean's fix for the bug to module-manager-gui at r28451.

We should issue a 2.2 module-manager-gui patch for this issue since people have already put work into making 2.2 add-ons.
Bug #5453 (Resolved): ant javadoc -Dfull=true failshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/54532011-08-05T15:08:21ZChristopher Brookscxh@eecs.berkeley.edu

Running "ant" says

javadoc Create javadoc for all the modules in modules.txt. Use -Dfull=true if you want to link your documentation to documentation of Kepler and Ptolemy too.

However, ant javadoc <del>Dfull=true fails.
--start-</del>

bash-3.2$ ant javadoc -Dfull=true
Buildfile: /Users/cxh/src/kepler/build-area/build.xml

Total time: 0 seconds

--end--

ant javadoc -Dfull=true should be part of the nightly test suite.
Bug #5355 (Resolved): actor documentation not included on instantiationhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/53552011-03-22T21:11:41ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

If you use Tools=>Instantiate Component for a MyActor.java, the actor documentation is not included in the generated xml.

This command does include it:
./kepler.sh -createActorKar actor.java
Bug #5247 (Resolved): Allow user to set memory allocated to Kepler from within Keplerhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/52472010-11-24T02:18:03ZDerik Barseghianbarseghian@nceas.ucsb.edu

A nice feature for advanced users would be to let them set how much memory kepler is allocated (presumably a restart would be required for the change to take place).

This is in part motivated by some users who have run workflows that pass large chunks of data around as tokens, and execution has stopped with an error because of heap space errors.
Bug #5156 (Resolved): ant run for kepler 1.0 fails after clean svn checkouthttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/51562010-08-19T08:57:01ZMichal Owsiakmichalo@man.poznan.pl
