Redmine Bug #6783 (Resolved): dataset count starts at year 0 in DataONE themehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/67832015-06-22T04:57:08ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Under the current them DataONE theme, looking at the count of data objects under the 'Summary' tab, one sees a graph that starts at year 0, which compresses all of the current data to the right-most side of the graph. The X axis should represent date created or date published, and so should start sometime in the 1990's as its unlikely we have many date published before that.
Bug #6769 (Resolved): Question mark icons next to "data covers" and "published between" don't sho...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/67692015-06-03T21:31:03ZYiwei Wangy.wang82@gmail.com

Under the year filter, there are questions marks next to "Data covers" and "published between", but nothing shows up when i hover over it with my mouse
Bug #6764 (Resolved): The year filter is 1970-1970 when no results are foundhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/67642015-06-01T16:32:52ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

Example dataset had sites from Alaska to Baja California. Zooming in on the tile in Baja and hovering over the result zoomed us up to Alaska... very confusing. Find which site is within the current map's bounding box first before zooming to a lat, long location.
Bug #6759 (Resolved): "Clear all filters" shows when sort order has changedhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/67592015-05-27T17:53:18ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

Because something has changed with the search model, even though it is not a filter
Bug #6689 (Resolved): Ensure "My Packages" link works as expected in DataONE themehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66892015-03-09T15:15:08Zben leinfelderleinfelder@nceas.ucsb.edu

I added the ability for MetacatUI to check the authentication status of the user through CILogon as well as the traditional Metacat api. For the DataONE theme (and all others, really) we should make sure that those user DNs are handled correctly when clicking the "my packages" button that sets a search model for the user DN and navigates them to the #data view. In my recent test, I was redirected, but did not see the "Me" badge in the search filters even though it was indeed being applied.
Bug #6679 (Resolved): Relative links in the External View may not be correct on KNBhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66792015-03-02T17:42:59ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

Links with relative URLs are not working correctly in the External View in the KNB because they will be relative to https://knb.ecoinformatics.org instead of https://knb.ecoinformatics.org/software/dist, for example.

I should go through all the links in the KNB, especially in the Tools page and external EML page, and make sure all the links are ok and fix them as needed.
Bug #6674 (Resolved): Do not display the "Preview" button in the download contents table for the ...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66742015-02-27T21:16:02ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduBug #6656 (Rejected): Download contents table does not display for obsoleted versions of metadatahttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66562015-01-27T00:05:38ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

For some reason, sometimes when navigating "back" in the browser, the URL hash changes from #data/page/0 to #page/0, causing an error because there is no "page" view in the router config.
Bug #6638 (Resolved): If no autocomplete is created for a text filter, then the search doesn't ex...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66382014-12-19T20:20:19ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

An error with closing an autocomplete window that doesn't exist (for whatever reason) will not cause a search to execute. Whether or not an autocomplete dropdown window has been created and opened, we should send the query with the term entered.
Bug #6630 (Resolved): Zooming into tile on click doesn't work as expected when the map is smallhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66302014-12-08T21:46:22ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

When the map is small/not much bigger than the geohash tiles, (e.g. at 300x400 pixels and tiles at the geohash level 2), when the user clicks on a tile the Google Map doesn't zoom in very much and search triggered is very similar or not different at all. To the user, it looks like it doesn't work. We are using "fitBounds()" to resize the map. We may have to incorporate a check for the tile size: map size ratio or use a smaller tile on smaller maps... maybe a theme-specific solution... will try out some different options.
Bug #6616 (Resolved): Google map freezes after second searchhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/66162014-11-04T23:22:27ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

After a search in the top search bar, the Search View loads normally. Then after a second search from the top search bar, the Google Map loads the first few map tiles and fails to load the other map tile images (gray bg).

Mark Schildhauer pointed out an issue with a search he was trying on search.test.dataone.org. When encapsulating a search term in quotes, the app will wrap quotes around that term again. So the search term "California Current" will result in Solr searching for ""California Current"".

Also, search filters that are encapsulated in quotes then are removed (using the X remove button in the UI) are not able to be added again. The message "This filter is already applied" appears. I think the quotes are messing this up somehow since it uses a string match to determine if the filter is already in the list of currently-applied filters.
