Redmine Bug #7172 (New): Odd spacing/sizing/hover behavior in Submit/Login buttons in Arctic skinhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/71722017-01-06T00:15:42ZBryce Mecummecum@nceas.ucsb.edu

I was on arcticdata.io today looking at something unrelated and noticed some graphical oddities.

1. The "Sign in with ORCID" button is different between Chrome and Safari
2. The "Sign in with ORCID" button is a different size than the "Submit Data" button and the text is not aligned to the same baseline
3. Hovering over the "Submit Data" button triggers other elements in the the top bar to shift on Chrome but not on Safari

GIF for viewing pleasure: http://imgur.com/a/jX6qE
Bug #7147 (New): KNB header image 'animates' to fill the space in Safarihttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/71472016-10-19T22:28:50ZBryce Mecummecum@nceas.ucsb.edu

When I visit https://knb.ecoinformatics.org/#data/page/0 with an empty Safari cache, the header background image animates across the screen to fill the space. This doesn't happen in other browsers. I've attached a gif to show the behavior.

To reproduce:
- Open Safari 10.0
- Navigate to https://knb.ecoinformatics.org/#data/page/0
- From the Develop menu, select Disable Caches
- Reload the page
- Observe the animating background image

Can you reproduce?
Task #6949 (New): Create Metadata/MetadataIndex View for loosely-coupled services https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/69492016-01-20T17:41:04ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduTask #6948 (New): Display loosely-coupled services in the Metadata View for datasetshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/69482016-01-20T17:39:49ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduTask #6913 (New): Show message-type indicator in navbar next to username when a user has a pendin...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/69132015-12-15T17:04:58ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

When an image is uploaded by itself to a MN and has no metadata doc associated with it, the user can still view the image details by navigating directly to the Metadata View via the image's ID. But the image is not displayed in the Metadata View.
Task #6872 (New): "Invite your colleagues to join DataONE" featurehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/68722015-10-30T20:27:15ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

Add a feature where users can supply an email address and DataONE will send an email to that user, inviting them to login to DataONE and complete a certain task - such as join a group. The workflow would look something like:

- DataONE user is on their profile settings page and creating a group
- When they start to add members, they can enter an email address for their group member-to-be and that email address/person will receive an email that informs them they have been added to a group on DataONE.
- That person can click a link in the email to confirm they want to be in the group

This would mirror ways other apps on the web handle person grouping. It does not require the user to lookup an account before adding someone.
Feature #6842 (New): Create more intelligent breadcrumbshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/68422015-09-03T18:22:41ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

Only in UI development does "intelligent breadcrumbs" make sense --- but yes, right now the breadcrumbs are just displayed in the metadata view only and assume the user came from the search page. Make a breadcrumb view that uses the router history to draw smarter breadcrumbs... low priority, but will be nice as the app grows
Feature #6820 (New): Add OR filter optionhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/68202015-07-28T19:05:03ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

Add radio button options to the top of the filter list that say "Any of these" and "All of these" to give users the option to use an OR search.
Task #6768 (New): Consider a back button for the search maphttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/67682015-06-03T17:10:29ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

The bottom of the Metadata view will contain a list of datasets that are somehow related via provenance to the current dataset. Provenance relationships will be stated such as "This dataset contains data derived from..." or "Other datasets have used this dataset..."
