The production ready DataONE theme will be released in version 1.7.0 along with the new provenance features and v2 of the DataONE API. This deprecates the DataONE theme in v1.6.X which was intended as a proof-of-concept only.
Story #6598 (Resolved): Add Provenance to the DataCatalog and Metadata viewshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/65982014-09-23T22:57:41ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6513 (Resolved): Find a geohash JS library to convert geohashes to Lat,Long valueshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/65132014-04-15T19:38:43ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6482 (Resolved): Test StatsView and other changes in all browsers and Windowshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/64822014-03-25T17:49:36ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6423 (Resolved): Allow users to link their ORCID to their datahttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/64232014-02-21T00:06:37ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6406 (Resolved): Double check that all features and styling is satisfactory in the default...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/64062014-02-04T00:37:16ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6394 (Resolved): Test the JSON Apache compression in all browsershttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/63942014-01-17T01:00:24ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6344 (Resolved): Research ways to make Require.js load individual Backbone views without p...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/63442014-01-02T19:58:40ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.eduStory #6330 (Resolved): Address feedback on MetacatUI features and usabilityhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/63302013-12-27T23:57:13ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

I requested feedback from a wide variety of people in the community on the new MetacatUI interface and its usability. I asked for both 1) things that didn't work or were broken, and 2) new features that people think would be valuable. Individual task tickets will be entered for each of the issues to resilve.
Story #6319 (Resolved): Filter spatial data by centroid totally encompassed in the map viewport r...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/63192013-12-19T21:29:35ZLauren Walkerwalker@nceas.ucsb.edu

This issue will require a reworking of how the spatial search filters results - currently the filtering is all done by Solr since the bounding coordinates are indexed. Filtering by centroid may be faster if we have the centroid for each item indexed, otherwise we will have to return ALL results with spatial data, then filter those based on the centroid in JS. I have a feeling the latter will be slower.
