Redmine Bug #984 (In Progress): tracking bug for Alpha2 releasehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9842003-02-06T22:59:47ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Target release for March 15, 2003.
Bug #962 (In Progress): Allow a single step to be a pipelinehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9622003-01-23T22:44:10ZRich Williamsrwilliams@nceas.ucsb.edu

Allow a single step to be a pipeline - the steps inputs and outputs map
directly to the pipelines inputs and outputs.
Bug #958 (In Progress): When executing a StepGroup, only load required datasets and scalarshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9582003-01-22T19:55:52ZRich Williamsrwilliams@nceas.ucsb.edu

In each version of generateInputCode (there's one for each script language),
only generate code to load the data sets that are actually used by the current
StepGroup. Right now all datasets input to the pipeline are loaded for each
StepGroup.

Note that this is done correctly for the Scalar inputs in the Matlab plugin,
but this breaks the MatlabPluginTest of generateInputCode, as there is no
StepGroup setup in the test.
Bug #955 (In Progress): need to handle multiple datasets as input to a pipelinehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9552003-01-15T23:02:31ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

monarch needs to be able to handle multiple datasets as input to a pipeline.
this needs to be looked into.
Bug #952 (In Progress): record data bindings in a recoverable xml documenthttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9522003-01-15T22:57:01ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

monarch should be able to record data bindings into an xml document so that an
analysis could be "hardwired" later with the same bindings. This relates to
creating one XML document that contains the pipeline and step information.
Bug #947 (In Progress): develop pipeline/step library for MARINE QA testshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9472003-01-14T19:23:03ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

We need a small but compelling library of pipelines and steps that can be used
for QA analysis in MARINE. This test library should exercise the features of
monarch, including cross-plugin execution. Some examples:

1) Run proc univariate in SAS and display output
2) For all numeric vars in data, do pairwise scatterplot for outlier detection,
format on one page as matrix of plots
3) User-configurable scatter plot, histogram, bar chart (with grouping)

More are desirable. Will need to think about this some.
Bug #945 (In Progress): investigate semantic additions to monarchhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9452003-01-13T22:24:33ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

we need to investigate possible ways to add semantic mediation to monarch and
then implement it. This includes variable selection and integration based on
semantic mediation.
Bug #944 (In Progress): write eml -> nbii xsl sheethttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/9442003-01-13T22:19:05ZChad Berkleyberkley@nceas.ucsb.edu

need to write an xsl stylesheet to convert eml to nbii. this will be used to
fulfill a marine requirement to do so. will work with monarch xslt plugin.
