Redmine Bug #652 (Resolved): Bug when Canceling 'Create New Datatable..."https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6522002-10-24T04:00:07ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

If the 'Data/Create New Datatable..." menu item is selected and the user then
hits the 'Cancel' button, an unwanted window appears (old Add mentadata
wizard?). Hitting Cancel in this dialog(window) will return the user to the data
package display, but the extra window should not appear.
Bug #651 (Resolved): need to add a sample dataset to Morpho distributionhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6512002-10-24T03:51:07ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

We need to include a sample dataset with the Morpho distribution. I recommend
that we extend the previous one to include several entities, one of which should
have and image as data to illustrate the ability to display both tables and images.
Bug #645 (Resolved): Rename data set documents to metadata.htmlhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6452002-10-23T21:32:36ZJing Taotao@nceas.ucsb.edu

Now after exporting a datapakcage, we get a html file for every xml module.
The html files named by there doocid. So it is difficult to find the data set
file. We need to rename the data set file to be metadata.html.
Bug #642 (Resolved): Automatic update of config.xml needed when new version installedhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6422002-10-21T15:43:04ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

'config.xml' file now stored in the user's home directory. We need Morpho to
automatically update this file when a new version of Morpho is installed.

(Perhaps replace when the version number changes?)
Bug #639 (Resolved): Problem adding data to a packagehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6392002-10-17T22:14:54ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

If a package does not contain any data, and the add data menu item (Data menu)
is selected, there is a problem if one does NOT select an existing data set to
add. In this case, a 1 cell table appears. One can add rows and columns, but
after adding columns, there are problems in typing data into the cells. Also,
the 'Update' buttons fro saving any entries/changes does not work.
Bug #631 (Resolved): text edit boxes in editor are missing in Installer versionhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6312002-10-16T20:34:41ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

Some text edit boxes are missing when the InstallAnywhere version of Morpho
1.2beta is run. (Christy is only one with the version, currently.) Problem
disappears when installer version is launched using morpho.bat, but occurs when
morpho-exec.exe is used to launch morpho!
Bug #630 (Resolved): new xsl stylesheet needed for eml-attributehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6302002-10-16T18:18:35ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

A new xsl stylesheet is needed for eml-attribute so that the display on the
right of the morpho datapackage display 'fits' the small area better (i.e. so
that the table of attributes is more readable when it appears after a column
header is displayed)
Bug #547 (Resolved): evaluate metacat/morpho synchronizationhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/5472002-07-08T17:28:49ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Need to re-evaluate the synchronization between metacat and morpho to be sure it
is working properly. We discussed this need with Sandy @ NCEAS, but I forget
exactly what the problem was.
Bug #546 (Resolved): data editing enhancementshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/5462002-07-08T17:25:33ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Need several new features for editing data:

1) When an existing data file is updated, be able to save it using an ID in the
same family but a different revision # (right now morpho creates a completely
new ID rather than simply rev'ing the old one)

2)Need to be able to add new records to an existing file

3) Need to be able to provide a metadata description of a data file and add all
of the records for the data file from scratch.
Bug #508 (Resolved): Edits to CHOICE elements in eml-attribute::attributeDomain not saved unless ...https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/5082002-05-15T23:36:01ZMatthew Brookebrooke@nceas.ucsb.edu

Edits to the CHOICE elements under attribute->attributeDomain are not saved by
Morpho unless all the text data within the other choice elements in the same
group is removed.

For example, choose "numericDomain", fill out values for "minimum"
and "maximum", and save the module. Next time you open the eml-attribute
module and try to change the choice from "numericDomain" to "enumerated"
or "textDomain", this change will not be saved unless you physically delete
the text from the "minimum" and "maximum" fields you previously filled out.

Bug# 506 "Changes to "Originator" lost when editing eml-software" looks like
the same issue as this
Bug #507 (Resolved): error in saving qualityControl element of eml-protocol modulehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/5072002-05-15T23:12:40ZMatthew Brookebrooke@nceas.ucsb.edu

when creating an eml-protocol module for the first time, the
elements "paragraph" and "citation" appear in the correct order beneath
the "qualityControl" element (ie Morpho reads them from the DTD OK - no data
entered yet)

if data is entered in "paragraph" and/or "citation" and the protocol module is
saved, morpho actually saves "paragraph" and "citation" in the wrong order
within the XML document.

I tried editing the XML to put them back in the correct order, and next time I
edited the protocol module in Morpho, it saved them in the correct order.

(So in summary, if these elements don't already exist and are created, morpho
saves them in the wrong order, but if they do already exist in the correct
order, morpho maintains that correct order OK)
Bug #506 (Resolved): Changes to "Originator" lost when editing eml-softwarehttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/5062002-05-15T17:55:42ZMatthew Brookebrooke@nceas.ucsb.edu

1) create an eml-software module in Morpho. Under "originator->CHOICE" select
the "positionName" radio button and enter a value for positionName. Save the
module.

2) Go back and edit the module using Morpho's xml editor. Under "originator-

CHOICE" select the "individualName" radio button instead of "positionName",

and enter values for "salutation, surname and givenName". click "Save
Changes". Moprho does not show any errors, and appears to save the module
successfully.

3) Go back and open up the module again, using Morpho's xml editor.
Under "originator->CHOICE", the "positionName" radio button is selected again -
the "individualName" selection is lost, and the values for "salutation,
surname and givenName" are also lost.

(Morpho was not connected to Metacat during these operations. Same problem in
JDK 1.3 & 1.4 on winXP)
Bug #469 (Resolved): minimize size of final distributionhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/4692002-04-15T22:08:34ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Current morpho and config jar files are huge (3.7 MB), I think needlessly. We
need to go through and systematically trim out unneeded cruft from the jar files
that get built. This includes consolidation of images and icons used to include
only one copy of those few images that we actually use. Right now, there are
separate copies of the images in each package. We can accomplish this my making
a separate jar file for images that gets built from an "images" subdir within
lib, and the images would be loaded using getResource relative to that jar path.

Many config files in lib are probably uneeded and can be axed from the jar at
least, possibly from CVS too.
Bug #422 (Resolved): fix export functionalityhttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/4222002-02-13T21:39:19ZDan Higginshiggins@nceas.ucsb.edu

requested by REOT group
Bug #212 (Resolved): jar file handling for data packageshttps://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/2122001-04-09T22:22:42ZMatt Jonesjones@nceas.ucsb.edu

Need ability to store data packages as jar files on the local system, and morpho
needs to be able to create them and understand their structure. Also, need to
be able to send a jar file to metacat, and have it parse it and store the
components properly.
