Description

The name of this and similar tables should be changed to something
like "obsQuality_Flora", or "taxaResolution_Quality". The name as it is
implies that the table has data about the floristic quality of the plot, which
is a non neutral item. Users will assume that it somehow reports on the
quality of the vegetation, maybe like "grazed to hell," or "really a lot of
leaves." The name should inform the user that the table has information about
the quality of the level of taxonomic resolution; e.g., that at least 85% of
all taxa were identified to species level.

We have a bunch of tables that have less than the optimal names. It would be
nice if these were fixed. However, rather few of our users really look at
table names, so I rate renaming the tables as a low priority task. There will
be a LOT of work involved, in as much as all references to the tables will
need to be fixed. The system will likely break, and hte resultant bugs will
need to be fixed. To tackle this now seems likely to divert us from our real
goals. Let's save this for late in the project, if time is available. OK?

No problem. But I changed the corresponding names to tables in Appendix 1 and
2 of the standards document to reflect that the item refers to the level of
taxonomic resolution.

changed from components that are to be deleted to "misc" so that bugs don't get
deleted with component. Sorry for all the email.
