  • InfoVeg

    The Carolina Vegetation Survey <http://cvs.bio.unc.edu&gt;, based at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is collaborating with the Ecosystem Enhancement Program <http://www.nceep.net/> of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources to develop an information system to manage and distribute vegetation data for both natural and mitigation sites. The system will support all forms of data collected using the five-level sampling protocol developed by the Carolina Vegetation Survey <http://cvs.bio.unc.edu/methods.htm> and should be of value for data collected to monitor mitigation efforts as well as data collected at reference sites that serve as restoration targets. Additional reporting and projection tools will be developed to aid in developing restoration targets and assessment of restoration success....
