Ideally, we'd like to store FNA or USDA name for concept somewhere and allow this to be shown in plots views-- less important than which interpretation.

This exists currently, but just for USDA and uses a cookie, thus it is set on a machine, but not for a user specifically. Still less implemented is a user saying "I follow USDA except for these weird cases."

Implementation of such things will be quite difficult as users are not well aware of what they follow, firstly, but also will not want to populate their party perspective for all plants, meaning we have to choose preferentially which ones to view. VegBranch has some of this functionality in "ranking data" but this has the advantage of just one user and generates a lot of temp tables to store what should be viewed.
