The “Home†button should probably be changed to something like “About†in order to more clearly identify the information there, and not be confused with the Herbarium home page. Perhaps it should be repositioned below the “Search†button.

Agreed. The Search button should be on top, and the Home button should become the About button. Perhaps there is a need for a third button called Home that linke to the page one first enters the site at.
