Description

eml-access has a duration element that is defined in terms of temporalCoverage.
This introduces a number of temporal concepts that are nonsensical when applied
to the duration of 'tickets' (e.g. geological time scales). It is suggested that
simple start and stop times/dates be used here rather than temporal coverage
concepts.

I think it is reasonable to possibly eliminate advanced features like duration
and ticketCount from eml-access for now. They will probably not be used much
anyway. In the future we might consider adopting a more open standard for the
access spec, such as the Oasis XACML (eXtensible Access COntrol Markup
Language), rather than inventing our own. See
