Description

An error with closing an autocomplete window that doesn't exist (for whatever reason) will not cause a search to execute. Whether or not an autocomplete dropdown window has been created and opened, we should send the query with the term entered.

The DataCatalogView now checks if an autocomplete exists before attempting to close it.
