Right now if a user selects a dataset from the search results list and gets routed to the Metadata View, the Package Model sends a query to find the corresponding resource map ID of that metadata doc, then sends a second query to find all the other objects that are aggregated by that resource map. The first query to find the resource map ID isn't necessary since that can be retrieved from the index when the search is executed.

However, the current process can stay the same when a user directly navigates to the Metadata View from any place other than the search results, such as following a link from anywhere else on the web.
