Training and outreach: self guided materials, or official course?

Description
ML developes first tier training material in Jan. Tests them in February.
just after release, this sort of thing will become really important.
Tutorial exists, some demos of VegBranch exist, workshop materials are available
online. VegBrach help pages are becoming more helpful and widespread. Right
click help is always available in VegBranch.
Do we need more?
I misunderstood this bug and reopen it to allow this "self guide" or perhaps
even a course bug to exist.
