Description
need success and failure messages & rountines built into perl scripts since ldap
inserts will be done behind the scenes.
success log file: uid, date
failure email to ? information needed: uid, action status, error message

Closing this bug. The ldapUpdate.pl Perl script was completed in January,
2004. It runs as a cron job, once every five minutes, at the LTER Network
Office. The script reads changes made to the LTER database and makes the
corresponding changes to the LDAP database.
Since this script is local to the LTER Network Office, any further maintenance
issues will be tracked at the LNO Request Tracker rather than in the Metacat
Bugzilla.
