After adding data, such as an Excel table, to an existing dp, oftentimes the
user receives a message saying that the data cannot be displayed, but that a
link to the data will be provided in the metadata. This link is not a real URL,
and does not take you to the data. You have to go into the Editor an manually
put in a valid link to the data.

For example, for one data package where data was added, the link to the data
was ecogrid://reeves.8.1, and clicking on it did not take me to the data. I
changed the link using the Editor to http://metacat.nceas.ucsb.edu/knb/metacat?
action=read&docid=reeves.8.1, which was the correct URL for the data.
