Description
Morpho will hang if metacat is not found on startup. It hangs after the
connection dialog.

The specific problem at startup has been fixed by changing the settings to
insure that Morpho does NOT try to query Metacat after the Cancel button
in the Connection dialog is clicked. (Previously it might try to get data
after Cancel for the list of User docs.) The apparent 'hang' was probably due
to Metacat not sending a response rather than connection being down.
There may still be a problem with Matacat hanging during submissions and
queries since there is no indication (e.g. fluttering butterfly) on those
screens indicating that a query is in progress, or some method for cancelling.
