Description

--THIS BUG TO BE PASSED TO XIANHUA IN TIME--

When using the Firefox browser, the map page gives an error message, “Unable to display MapServiceâ€, if one tries to redraw the map using a subset of the data sources. The map then does not display the updated legend.

RKP:
I have been unable to replicate this error. I played around with FireFox and all seemed to work fine. Might you give me more specifics, or let Xianhua visit your computer? In addition, we need to assign someone the task of [checking] out multiple browsers on multiple computers in multiple places, just to make sure the system is robust.

The specific part of this bug related to crashes has been incorporated in bug 2618 (= but 37).

However, this does not change the fact that we need to run compatibility tests on various browsers and OSs.
