Description

Current Morpho XML editor uses DTDs while EML2.0 work is using XML Schemas.
There is thus a possible need to upgrade Morpho to use Schemas directly rather
than creating DTDs by hand that are compatible with Schemas.

Now that we are hoping to use the Jalam editor in Morpho, this XML Schema
support can be built into that. Thus, I'm reassigning it to incorporate into
the Jalama requirements.

Changing to P1, need to figure out how this works with the new Jalama editor and
whether any work on the existing editor is warranted. We may want to add EML 2
support to the existing editor if Jalama support is potentially a long way off.

Actions #3

Updated by Matt Jones almost 21 years ago

This may be revisited due to recent discussions about Jalama not being ready.
Marking as required for EML2 support.

Editor will now handle schema based documents. Actually, the editor currently
uses a 'template; which can be created from a schema or a dtd. Code for creating
a template from a Schewma is also included in the Morpho CVS module.
