Bug #3483
closedcase sensitive Leopard install fails
0%
Description
Looks like the installer assumes a case insensitive file system on Mac OS X. Leopard now offers a true case sensitive file system. Thus some actions during the installation process fail although it states the install was complete. The console shows the errors.

Thanks for the report and additional detail. Could you attach the console log that led you to conclude that case sensitivity was the issue. We may need to check with the installer platform to see if they have a patch to handle case sensitive MacOS.

The installer is now performing a case-sensitive install and I have made sure to use correct case on all files being copied individually by the installer. I do not believe this to be an issue any longer. Please re-open this bug if any problems are found with case with the new installer for kepler 2.0.
