Description
Need to move the vegbank,org DNS servers so that they are managed at NCEAS
rather than at the current ISP. Matt and Mark will start the setup for this at
NCEAS, and when the technical infrastructure is in place John will submit the
changes at Verisign to switch the name servers.

I have now created the vegbank.org DNS config files at NCEAS, with argus as the
master and hyperion as the slave for the vegbank.org domain. Only two hosts are
listed (vegbank.org and www.vegbank.org) -- both argus and hyperion respond with
the correct information. We can easily add more hostnames as needed.
I have made a request of UCSB to see if they will allow ns1.ucsb.edu and
ns2.ucsb.edu to act as the primary and secondary name servers for the domain,
and configure them to point at argus as slaves for the zone.
After UCSB is set up, then we can do the transfer at Verisign. Waiting for
response from UCSB.

UCSB now supports the vegbank.org domain as well. John can make the switch at
Verisign any time that he is ready. The new name servers for the domain should be:
ns1.ucsb.edu
and
ns2.ucsb.edu
My part in this is doe, I think. When everything is working, John should close
this bug.

Ok, the vegbank system is now hosted completeley through NCEAS. I'm closing
this bug.
