Description

After uploading a metadata and data file on dev.nceas.ucsb.edu using the online registry, the resourceMap field for the metadata and data objects is not populated. But after some period of time it eventually is.

Jessica Couture and Matt Jones experienced this last week where a metadata and image was uploaded but in the Metadata View of the UI, the image was not displaying in the metadata or the package contents table. But when I looked at those packages at least 24 hours later, the resourceMap field was indexed so the image and package contents table were displaying correctly.

Jessica's example:
https://dev.nceas.ucsb.edu/knb/d1/mn/v1/object/knb.489.1

Mine, which doesn't have the resourceMap field yet:

I believe the bug was fixed in Metacat trunk and will be released in the 2.5.0:

https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6520

We also have a scheduled timed index process and it will index the documents whose the solr index was missing in the first place. This is the reason that you can see the correct index after a while.

I deployed the new code and tested on the mn-demo-8. It worked.
