Based on feedback and my own suspicions, the "Other Entity" parts of EML are not intuitively displayed in MetacatUI. There are details about the files that don't need to be displayed at first glance - such as "Externally Defined Format" etc. (can be hidden behind a "More info" link)
The term "Other Entity" may be familiar to those already familiar with EML, but otherwise I don't think users understand it.
