Description
REOT feedback: ability to rename exported files - these are currently auto-
named, and it's not obvious which files are which without opening them and
looking
Feedback from a user, related to this bug:
If we do end up exporting data packages, they show up as numbers and not the
name that you gave them when you created them. This is confusing when storing
exported packages, and since all the members of our lab save to the same file
in the network, we will likely end up with packages of the same name. Then we
have the chance of accidentally deleting or saving over another person's
information.
From discussion on IRC with M O'Brien:
At the very least it would be nice to include the .xml extension for metadata files that are exported.
Additionally it might be useful to allow the metadata file name to be specified, though I'm not sure how that would fit in with the other parts of the export naming scheme and maybe it doesn't need to.
