REOT feedback: export and import for external data manipulation:

Despite the awesome data editing functionality now incorporated into morpho,
soem users expressed a desire to be able to export data tables for external
processing in other programs, and then import them again afterwards. The
import step would include validation to ensure agreement with the existing
metadata, and would facilitate resolution of any inconsistencies (either
manually or automatically or some combination thereof)

there are potential implications with regard to undocumented changes etc which
woudl also need to be considered
