Bug #1283
openSynchronizing the Local and Network metadata bases
0%
Description
Reported in morpho-feedback-20040122.doc in /doc/devs/ by Rick Reeves
When synchronizing the Local and Network metadata bases, it appears necessary
to highlight and synchronize one metadata set at a time. It would be more
convenient if the user could highlight multiple metadata sets (e.g., with
a ‘shift’click’ operation) and then invoke a ‘bulk synchronize’ operation.
Finally, there is no ‘synchronization complete’ or similar message to confirm
to the user that the operation was successful. Last suggestion on this topic:
Why is it necessary to search for existing datasets before synchronizing? Seems
like synchronization should be a ‘bulk’ operation (perhaps with some ‘ok to
synchronize metadata xx.yy?’ confirm/deny message) that moves ALL the local
metadata to the network.
