Description
We currently submit new entries to the registry using two scripts. This results
in intermediate XML files being stored on the filesystem, and then the second
script modifies these intermediates (supplying identifiers) and uploads them to
metacat.
We have discussed integrating these scripts so that web-based submissions
immediately are sent to metacat for storage, with a private ACL so that they are
not visible until a moderator makes them publicly viewable using Morpho or other
tools.
This feature is needed for the OBFS registry as well.

Done. The new script called load-dataset.cgi both processes the form input and
creates and inserts the XML documents to metacat.
