Here is the feature requested from Margaret O'Brien:
1. allow users to skip the search altogether and read a doc by its docid. The network search is a very slow step, presumably because morpho cannot tune its queries to the indexing of any specific metacat catalog. A user who knows the ID will be saved some frustration if s/he can type it into a box.
