Bug #5186

Publish example KARs to repository
Added by Derik Barseghian about 14 years ago.
Updated over 13 years ago.
Description
The two KARs on the kepler library were published inadvertently, and may and should be removed, because they are not good examples.
We should also publish some good examples (using 2.1, so they are KAR 2.1) for users to see.
Matt suggests:
REAP examples
SANPark examples
some useful components
Publishing a run kar that includes a nice report (sanparks?) would be good too.
Removed the 2 kars.
Changing title, we just need to publish example kars now.
I tweaked and uploaded four REAP workflow kars.
Turns out the SANParks example Ben and I wanted to post (pc03-veld-condition-woody.kar ) uses a protected data set, so it's not a good public example. He's looking for another.
If you have good example workflows or components to put up, please do.
I recommend filling in the component's documentation, author, and version sections since they're displayed.
I also strongly recommend creating your example kars from within kepler 2.1.0, so that complete versioning information is captured in the kar.

This is orthogonal to the release and is not a release blocker. Derik can upload new KARs whenever he likes. Retargetting to 2.3.
I documented and uploaded 4 example REAP KARs right after 2.2 shipped. This is still sparse, I encourage others to put up examples.
