Need to develop some example methods that illustrate the typical procedures
employed in the field in ecology. THese should range across several types of
field ecology, and should be detailed enough to show the important
characteristics of the protocol in terms of implementing an efficient data entry
system.

Each of Carol, Matt, Mark, and Eric agreed to develop some of these descriptions
and will check them into CVS for use by the developers as test cases.
