The Metacat MN view service is:

/<metacat_context>/d1/mn/v1/views/{qformat}/{pid} 

and returns HTML.

The metacatui URL is:

/<metacatui_context>/#view/{pid}

and does an ajax call to the Metacat MN view service, rendering the results in the main content area.
