Description

We decide we will put some actors in remote repository in order to reduce the
kepler deployment size. Currently, the search in actor panel(left panel) in
kepler only search local actors. So we need make the search of actors can be
done in both local kepler and remote repository.

Initial experimentation with using EcoGrid for remote repository is successful.
Need to try to deploy at least one EcoGrid service that can be used this way
with LSID support.

The repository is now working. we are working on creating a web service
(ecogrid) interface for registering lsids. once that is complete, kepler just
needs to use the service to handle lsid conflicts when uploading actors to the
actor repository.

The actor repository currently lives on dana.msi.ucsb.edu. It needs to be moved
to a production server by rel 1.0.

The remote repository is now working with web services. The new permanent url is library.kepler-project.org. Currently, you may upload actors via the kepler interface, but you may not search or download. To search or download you must use the web interface.
