Description

Hua Tang reported the following error on Solaris:
After login is done, a big window frame popups. This frame only has a title
"Morpho-Data Management for Ecologists". The main display area is grey and there
is nothing there, no menu, no button and no icon. The CPU usaged is kept at 100%
until I terminate this process. If I press "skip login", the same result occurs.

We need to resolve these errors on Solaris, but it is lower priority than the
other platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux).
