Bug #1154
closedAll children of required "offline" element are optional in PhysicalDistributionType
0%
Description
in PhysicalDistributionType, the "offline" element is required, but all its
children are optional; thus if the user does not provide any offline metadata,
the offline element will be empty.
Updated by Matt Jones about 21 years ago
Cleaned up documentation for offline medium some, but I am not comfortable with
making mediumName required, because that will break backwards compatibility.
Retargeting this potential change for EML2.1.0 (when breaking compatibility will
be allowed).

Changing QA contact to the list for all current EML bugs so that people can
track what is happening.

Found this bug fixed in the 2.1.0 branch, so including it in this release.

This bug applies to the DistributionType defined in eml-resource.xsd, since that is the base type. In EML-2.1.0, the PhysicalDistributionType (defined in eml-physical.xsd) is an extension of res:DistributionType. Both types should require mediumName.
