Description

Add a menu option that allows the user to toggle between automatic checking for updates at startup and not.

David implemented a toggle for checking for patches on startup, should this be closed now? Was a conclusion reached wrt if the user should be able to be prompted for minor and major updates? I think most other software prompts for minor updates too
